New Year! New You! A Better You!!

Okay guys another year has passed and 2015 is upon us. As the year comes to an end everyone is thinking about their "New Year Resolutions".

start gym

Many people say that these things are rubbish. Saying that "you are the same person as you were in last year". When thinking about it logically they are right. You can't instantaneously change over night. You're still the same person on the 1st of 2015 as you were on the last day of 2014.

Well I say to HELL with those people who say such things. It all depends on how you see things. Everyone has their own way of looking at things and maybe the New Year is like that beacon of hope, that light at the end of the tunnel that were so eagerly looking for!

For example, i really wasn't much of a fan of training legs coz they are hard. But when 2012 was starting i made a resolution that i would try to be good in my legs workout. And by april i was one of the heaviest lifter while working out legs in my gym.

So it all depends on how you look at things and how they much mean to you!

For those of you who haven't started going to the gym, well you have to start at some point. And maybe the dawn of the new year can help you get that focus, determination and will power that you much lacked in the previous year. All you have to do is get you goals set up!

gym goals

Many people don't know how to start, well this is where we come in. Here to help you get ready and get prepared for the coming year!

First of all you need to make a checklist for yourself. This will help you get your priorities right and help you follow a disciplined routine in order to get your goals easily and quickly!

Secondly need to find the right gym, that suits your routine. Or it can be any gym that your mates workout at. The right gym will help you maintain that positive energy and keep you going through the tough times. The right gym can be your place of "Zen" and peace. This way you will enjoy your workouts and also look forward to them the next day.

Thirdly you can either get a training partner or you can workout by yourself. If you do opt for a partner make sure he isn't some lazy snob who won't go himself and will keep you hanging as well. But a serious partner will make sure you go to the gym and get work done whether you like it or not.

He will help you push you limits even further. He will help you through those reps that you thought were impossible.

But if you plan on working out solo then make a list of songs that pump you up and not those sad love songs that might remind you of you ex.

But in this situation you are you own master and in days where you don't even feel like getting out of the bed, you're gonna have to dig deep down and find that will power and motivation! That drive that only Champions possess. The same drive that let them to victory through adversity and hardship!

Fourthly, you need to make a diet plan or get it made by a professional, that suits you goals. you have to stick to it. There will be some days that you can treat yourself to a cheat meal. But make sure there aren't too many of those or else there will be no use of that diet plan. You must Eat in order to make them #Gainz!

Fifthly, you need to consider the possibility of supplements. Don't consider them as a replacement for solid meals as nothings can replace the nutrition of a solid meal. Their job is only to help support you reach your goals.

They help you increase your protein or calories intake throw protein shakes such as ON Gold Standard Whey Protein, Syntha-6 by BSN or Combat by MusclePharm. Or some other shakes made from Weight Gainers such as Serious Mass by ON, Mega Mass by Weider Global Nutrition or True Mass by BSN.
