 Whats the whole point of losing fat? For your body to look more healthy and attractive right? But you're not going to get there just by losing fat and becoming scrawny. While cardio does its part by burning extra calories, it does absolutely nothing to improve your muscles underneath. Also too much cardio with insufficient calories can make you weaker

The Calorie Factor

It all comes down to a simple equation really. If your caloric intake is less than the amount your burn in activities daily, you will lose fat. This is the determining factor for success in your weightloss plans. However do not get carried away by the idea and starve yourself. You need to cut down on the surplus calories and not the amount needed by your body to function healthy.

Many people have a tendency to overestimate the amount their are burning as well, so its highly recommended to avoid guess work and maintain a proper journal. Record the amount you consume, and begin with dropping 500 calories a day. When cutting down on calories, calories coming from Junk food and food in between meals should be the first ones on the layoff block.

Healthy fats like Animal Fats, coconut oil, nuts, and avocados maintain optimal testosterone levels and reduce hungers, increasing the effect of your workouts. Without enough healthy fats, your results will suffer.
Avoid carbs and artificial trans fats. Carbs increase your insulin levels and trans fats are known to cause health problems are heart diseases.

Most of the people I meet seem to have a hard time believing this, but protein is also a decisive factor in the extent to which you will succeed in your weight loss plans. Let me explain to you why is that.
Firstly, Protein takes more energy to be digested, making your digestive system work more and in turn increasing your calorie burn. Secondly, eating foods high in protein give you the feeling of being full, this decreasing the amount you consume in between meals.

Sleep is essential in order for our body to function healthily. Research suggests that people with poor sleeping patterns tend to grow fat, as loss of sleep increases levels of cortisol, which causes fat storage. To top it off, sleep deficiency also affects recovery and growth hormone production.
